Major Saver Fundraiser

Exciting news! The Shawnee Heights Public Schools Foundation's Major Saver fundraiser has gone DIGITAL, making it easier than ever to support our schools and help your child succeed! By participating, you'll play a vital role in funding valuable programs and resources for our students. The fundraiser benefits both the Shawnee Heights Public Schools Foundation and your student's school directly. Since 2013, over $210,000 has been raised through the Major Saver program to support our district.

The Shawnee Heights Public Schools Foundation is dedicated to providing ways to enhance, enrich, and expand educational programs for our students, offering opportunities that are not otherwise available through normal district funding. The Foundation gives to our district through Student Scholarships, Teacher Grants, Special Grant requests, Care Funds, and more.

Q&A

How do multiple students in the same household participate in the fundraiser?

If you have more than one student participating in the fundraiser, here are two options:

1. Edit the Profile Name:

  • When setting up your students' accounts under the same phone number, you can edit the profile name to include both students (e.g., "Jane and John Smith").

  • Select any grade/class for the account, and prizes will be delivered to that class under the names listed.

  •   Card sales will be divided equally among the names in the profile. For example, if "Jane and John Smith" raises $400, each student will receive credit for $200 and the corresponding prizes for that total.

2. Set Up a Second Account:

  •    If another parent, guardian, or trusted family member is available, they can set up a separate account on their device to run the campaign for the other student.

  •  Bonus: The person managing the second account will also receive a FREE discount card for helping with the campaign!

Can out-of-town family and friends buy cards for their local area while supporting Shawnee Heights students?

As long as a participating school district in their area offers digital discount cards, they can access deals closer to where they live.

  • After purchasing the Shawnee Heights card and downloading the MoneyDolly app from your wallet section, swipe left to the "Card Connection" section. From there, search by city, state, or zip code to find discounts in their local area.

  • Additionally, this means when you purchase a Shawnee Heights card, you automatically gain access to deals in other areas - perfect for traveling!
